Day 1: Arrival – Hanoi (D)
Pick up from Noibai airport by your arrival flight, transfer to hotel - Take an orientation tour on Cyclo (if time permit) - Enjoy water puppet show - Welcome dinner Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong on Emeraude Cruiser (B, L, D)
8:30 AM, the bus pick up at hotel lobby. 12.00 - 13.00: Upon arrival at the port, a warm welcome by Emeraude staff and then board the shuttle boat for a short transfer (approximately 5 minutes) to the Emeraude. Welcome cocktail and check in on board the Emeraude. 13.00 – 18.30 The Emeraude cruises through Halong Bay passing by some of the most scenic locations including Yen Ngua, Con Coc Mountains and a floating village. A Vietnamese buffet lunch is served between 13.00 and 14.30 in the Emeraude restaurant. There is an optional guided visit to Sungsot Grotto (Grotto of Surprises), weather and tide permitting. Option of afternoon tea with pastries on the sundeck or in the restaurant and an aperitif before dinner. 18.30: Arrive at Hang Luon lake for overnight on board. 19.00 - 21.00: Vietnamese buffet dinner is served in the Emeraude dinning room, BBQ on the Sundeck. Accommodation and overnight on board the Emeraude at Hang Luon lake, Halong Bay. Overnight on boat.
Day 3: Halong – Hanoi (B)
06.00: Tai Chi Class. 07.00: The Emeraude sets sail once again through the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay heading for Halong Public Port. 07.00 – 09.00: European buffet breakfast is served in the Emeraude restaurant. 08.30 - 09.45: Check out of cabin. 09.45 - 10.00: Transfer by tender back to Halong Public Port. Pick up at the port and transfer back to Hanoi for check in and relax.
Day 4: Hanoi City tour – Hue (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, start city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex for visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit Literature Temple, the first University in Vietnam in 16th century. Have lunch in one of famous restaurant in Hanoi. PM: Visit Ethnological Museum then have Cyclo in the Old Quarter and visit Dong Xuan Market, enjoy Water Puppet show in the afternoon. Then transferred to the airport for flight to Hue at 18:45 PM. Upon arrival in Hue at 19:55 PM, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check in and relax. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue city tour (B, L)
AM: Visit Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century. Before leaving the site of Imperial city we visit Imperial Museum, many precious objects which were salvaged from the Imperial city then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb, have lunch PM: A boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, visit Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B, L)
Drive to Hoian on the way visit Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach, via Danang and visit Cham Museum & Marble Mountain en route. Afternoon visit Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – Saigon city tour (B, L)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Danang airport for the early flight to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon, you will be picked up for Saigon city tour: The sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city's some major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 8: Saigon – Mekong – Saigon (B, L)
8:00 Pick up at hotel the depart for Cai Be by car; stop for photos at Tan An town over the flat rice fields. On arriving in Cai Be, start the motorized boat to visit the Cai Be floating market, experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard, fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand – made family business products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village – the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge yourself into the nature. Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart of the garden. Enjoy the southern Vietnamese traditional folk music. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to HCMC. Finish the trip around 18:00 at your hotel. Check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – Cao Dai – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Breasfast at hotel. We then travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. Back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 10: Saigon – Siem Reap (B, L)
AM: After breakfast at hotel, transferred to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, picked up and transferred to hotel for check PM: Visit Siem Reap in the afternoon.
Day 11: Siem Reap (B, L)
Whole day city tour to visit Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei, the Roluos group will bring you back to among the earliest large, permanent, Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Afternoon visit to the World Seventh Wonder of the Magical temple City of Angkor Wat until view sunset at Phnom Bakheng…. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siem Reap (B, L)
09:00: Drive to Chong Kneas to visit the fishing village by a private boat. Cruise through the fishing villages of the Tonle Sap Lake to discover the natural splendor and old lifestyle of the country. Lunch at local restaurant Visit Artisan d’Angkor, where it is famous for its traditional craft skills products are available such stone caving, wood caving, lacquering, gilding and silk processing. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B, L)
Take flight from Siem Reap to Phnompenh capital Pick up and transfer to Hotel Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 14: Phnom Penh – Departure (B)
