Xeo here are really great, and Zin's staff serves enthusiastically. At Madam
Tran, everything has a unique flavor. They have 2 menus - one vegetarian and
one non-vegetarian. Both come in gray color options! Highly recommend to
anyone visiting who wants a clean and affordable meal.

William is a big boss of this restaurant and he loves to share his story
from Nothing now to big boss. William is an ex-street kid who is dedicating
himself to making a better life for himself and his family. The food is
excellent and the owner connects everything with his own story and values
??that support it. You even get a very good local experience included,
because this place is not touristy. Don't be put off with the situation,
entrance or decor of this good low budget eatery. William the host is a very
proud man and lets his good will and more importantly the food do the
talking, he loves explaining how a Vietnamese person usually eats and
sharing food among family and friends.The food we had was in one word
delicious. Just try Bun Cha which was flavorful and generous in its portion
size accompanied by a cold Hanoi beer.

fresh, healthy meals and are tired of Vietnamese noodles and street food.
They also serve combos with sandwiches and fresh juices and baked potatoes.
Price depends on your choice, my whole grain honey sandwich combined with
apple juice and 1 baked potato was 85,000 VND (about 3.5 USD) - an
affordable price. All you have to do is to order fresh meals and you can
choose the vegetables and dressings you want to put on sandwiches and
salads.
In particular, they have overnight oats which are hardly found in Vietnam,
very healthy.
The management staff was very friendly and enthusiastic in helping customers
order.
Recommended for backpackers staying in the Old Quarter.

New Day restaurant is located on Ma May street in the center, only about 10
minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. The food is clean, the service is fast, the
space is a bit small, but in the old town it is acceptable! The price is
reasonable, if you want to have a family meal, this place may be an option
for you! If you go out to eat during peak hours, the restaurant is very
crowded and you have to sit outside. The staff is very enthusiastic,
friendly and smiling. Able to communicate in many languages, as far as I can
see, there are English, French, Korean, and Chinese. If you order the set
menu which is suitable for 2 people and cost about 155,000 VND or about 6
USD. They serve the usual Vietnamese dishes - pho, spring rolls, stir-fried
beef and vegetables with white rice and a dessert of custard or leche flan.
One drawback is that there is no phone signal in the room and the wifi is
always disconnected. But never mind, it's okay to go to lunch without wifi.

prices and lovely food. The service is impeccable, the restaurant staff are
very attentive and made sure diners are well taken care of. Food come out
fast and beer is always cold! The Hanoi spring rolls are amazing, like the
pork and beef served in a coconut! Delicious roast duck, with rich sauce and
perfectly cooked potatoes. Crispy spring rolls with fresh ingredients
including different herbs and greens. And the snake rice dish cooked in
banana leaves should not be missed. A luxurious way to spend a warm evening
in bustling Hanoi Old Quarter!
